Rășinari Municipality performed their first Stakeholder Working Group (SWG) meeting on October 25, 2019, in Rășinari, and focused in the Marginimea Sibiului area.
Marginimea Sibiului is a mountain area, in the center of Romania that includes 18 villages, with more than 40.000 inhabitants.
The SWG includes cities representatives of Mărginimea Sibiuluithe area, representatives of Lucian Blaga Sibiu University, representatives of NGOs that act in the field of sustainable tourism, representatives of the Tourism Ministry, LEADER Action Group representatives, among others. Within this occasion, the SWG members initiated the regional sustainable tourism SWOT analysis and have identified good practices examples in wath regards sustainable tourism and eco-tourism.
The SWG will have biennial meetings between October 2019 and June 2022.
