The Forward Festival 2018 took place from the 26th - 28th April at the Gartenbaukino in Vienna.

Forward is a Festival for Creativity, Design & Communication. It brings together the best international and local creative heads, who provide insights into their success stories in an exciting atmosphere. The conference, the centerpiece of the festival, is accompanied by various side events, such as workshops, live art sessions and networking events.

The idea behind Forward is to create a festival where the creative community can exchange opinions, inspire and learn from each other. Their core ambition is to bring each other’s ideas, projects and goals FORWARD.

Christina Koch, leader of RCIA, had the chance to present the RCIA project on the 27th April at the Cage Stage of the Forward Festival. After giving a general insight to the project she had a bilateral conversation on stage together with Lukas Kauer, the founder of the Forward Festival, about the goals and opportunities that the RCIA project holds, especially through the Austrian Regional Action Plan.

She also took the chance to have a chat with some interested people from the audience after her presentation - most of them working in the creative sector - to talk in more detail about the RCIA project and about the possibility to include some of them in the next Local Stakeholder Group Meeting, which is planned to be held in autumn 2018.

The founders of Forward Festival have also been part of the Austrian Stakeholder Group from the beginning of the RCIA project.
