The workshop attended around 60 participants who represented the REBORN partners & stakeholders, the Managing Authority of ROP 2014-2020, region’s officers, politicians, enterpreneurs, local business clubs, other public & private Institutions & chambers and the Small Enterprises’ Institute of the Hellenic Confederation of Professionals, Craftsmen, and Merchants (IME GSEVEE).

 

Within the framework of the project, the Regional Development Fund organized the 3rd International Thematic Workshop on "Developing Competences for Entrepreneurs", which brought together the interest of actors, scientists and professionals, since it is the first time that a similar interregional project is being implemented in Western Macedonia, Greece.

Information on the implementation of the project in Western Macedonia by the Director of the Regional Development Fund Mr. Mavromatidis, very interesting were the contributions on the strategic management of the second opportunity in entrepreneurship by representatives of the Ministry of National Economy of Hungary, the Modena of Italy & Liege of Belgium.

Recent improvements of the Western Macedonia Development Fund tool was presented by Mr. Amanatidis, director of ANKO SA, while Mr. Kourtsidis, the head of the Western Macedonia Regional Operational Program, discussed the possibilities of supporting SMEs facing financial problems.

The workshop closed with discussion and the results of the event.

During the afternoon all partners made a study visit to local chamber of industrial and commerce where among others it was extentedly presented the Greek good practice of the project Early Warning Europe.
