The REBUS partners and stakeholders reconvene in Durham, UK for the 7th international REBUS Partner Meeting & Exchange.

After a warm welcome from Durham County Council, the partners will participate in a communication session and social media training held by Communication Consultant Carrie Brookes. Other topics covered in the partner meeting include financial management, reporting, internal monitoring and the finalisation and peer review of the partners’ Action Plans.

The meeting & exchange also includes a workshop with stakeholders, overall presentation of the consolidated and updated version of the Energy Renovation Path (ERP), as well as a discussion for eventual changes/updates and division of tasks for ERP finalisation.

A highlight of the 7th international REBUS partner meeting & exchange is the study visit to Durham University to hear from the internationally renowned Durham Energy Institute (DEI). This will include presentations on two Low Carbon projects – the live ERDF funded SWII (Solid Wall Insulation Innovation) project, and the Stanley Louisa Centre Minewater Heating Proposal, for which an Outline ERDF Application has been approved and a Full Application is being developed. There is also the opportunity to visit DEI’s renewable energy labs and discuss the energy strategy for their expanding University campus.
