The 2nd Stakeholder Meeting in Romania was held on 14th May 2019 in the Head Office of the Regional Development Agency South-West Oltenia in Craiova.
The RECREATE project team started the meeting with an update of the implementation progress since the previous meeting in November.
This was followed by a presentation about the ‘Transport SME Competitiveness’ report, led by RDA SW Oltenia. During the first semester, they developed the Research Protocol which was the basis of the report’s implementation. Currently, all partners are finalising the part of report related to their region and these will all be combined in a joint document.
A session was dedicated to Good Practices in the Transport sector: some examples from the South-West Oltenia region were shown, as well as two cases identified in Italy during the study visit held in April.
The last part of the meeting was dedicated to financial and internationalisation opportunities for SMEs: the services offered by the Enterprise Europe Network to Transport SMEs were presented, as well as funding opportunities for SMEs in the region.
