The 2nd local Stakeholder Group meeting of the RECREATE project took place on 16th May 2019 at the premises of Dodecanese Commercial Chamber in Rhodes.
The event involved representatives of transport companies, cruise operators, SME representatives, executives of the Commercial Chamber of the Dodecanese and Port Authorities, members of the Institute of Transport.
The RECREATE project team presented the aims and the guidelines of the project that are focused to improve the capacity and capability of regional transport SMEs to further develop and grow through:
• Research and Development
• Rapid development and implementation of products and services
• Access to finance schemes
• Internationalisation opportunities
During the meeting the results of the First Study Visit and Thematic Workshop in Naples together with the current implementation of phase 1 of the project were presented and discussed. Several questioners were distributed and interviews with stakeholders took place as part of the mapping of the existing situation in South Aegean Region.
