The Lithuanian Innovation Centre organised a Stakeholder Meeting in Vilnius on 17th September 2020 as part of the RECREATE project – 5th semester. The event was attended by representatives of the transport sector, government officials, business support agencies, transport business associations and universities.
The meeting focused on combined transport and its opportunities and perspectives to expand in Lithuania. The main subject discussed was the policy targets behind this mode of transport, its benefits, technologies and major obstacles, which hinder the development of such mode.
Besides this, the stakeholders were updated about the current status of the RECREATE project and its activities. They were also introduced with the upcoming activities of the project, mainly the Good Practices collection and the Good Practices Handbook. This led to a discussion between the participants about the type of Good Practices that could be interesting for them and the Good Practices that should be described in the Handbook on behalf of Lithuania.
