The Lithuanian Innovation Centre organised a Stakeholder Meeting in Vilnius on 29th October 2021 to present the activities carried out in the last semester of Phase 1 and the upcoming ones to deliver in Phase 2.
The stakeholders were introduced to the Policy Recommendations developed within the framework of the RECREATE project. Several institutions shaping innovation and transport policy in Lithuania participated to the event and could see how the implementation of these recommendations would help to promote synergies between the transport sector and the circular economy.
The main result of the project – the Action Plan for Lithuania – was also presented. This includes the actions to be implemented in Phase 2, their expected impact on SMEs competitiveness, business development and innovation policy, foreseen timelines and other related aspects.
As Phase 2 will start in December 2021, some information about it was shared. The project will have some additional activities to understand how businesses were supported during the pandemic: this will include new study visits, stakeholder meetings and identification of Good Practices specifically related to business support during the pandemic.
