September 23rd and 24th at ‘Andalucía Sabor, International Fine Food Exhibition’, Andalusia will present the partners of REGIONS 4FOOD five good practices on digitization:

- Andalucía Agrotech Digital Innovation Hub: 

Andalucía Agrotech DIH is an ecosystem created to help companies in the digitization process of the agrifood sector. This hub gathers the needs of the agrifood sector, technological services provided by ICT companies, the innovation capacity of knowledge agents and public programs promoted by the public administration to provide support. As an example, FIWARE zone, a public-private initiative to boost the digitization and transformation of SMEs.

- Geoportal and RAIF :

Both initiatives are examples of Andalusian open data. Geoportal is a portal web to search, locate, view, download and request geographic information referring to the Andalusian territory. On the other hand RAIF is a Phytosanitary Information and Alert Network. 

- Master Digital Transformation of the Agrifood Sector 

The universities of Seville and Cordoba offer two masters related to the digital transformation of the agri-food sector for the training of professionals in this area.

- Minerva and Andalucia Open Future Programs 

The aim of both initiatives is boost the startups to accelerate the digital transformation of the Andalusian agrifood sector.

 

All good practices on agrifood digitization are promoted by the Regional Ministry Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries and Sustainable Development in the frame of the ‘Andalusian Digital Transformation Strategy’ that is built in four key ideas: participation in international digital transformation networks, participation in international innovation projects and cooperation that enable bringing demonstration projects to Andalusia, development of actions to enhance digitization in the agri-food sector and promotion of digital public administration.
