The aim of this first meeting was to form the group of relevant local stakeholders who will be involved in the implementation of project activities and to sparkle their interest and secure their commitment. Participants included representatives of regional offices of the national Ministry of agriculture and food (State Agricultural Fund, National Agricultural Advisory Service), local agricultural college, regional directorate of the National Food Safety Agency, farmers, food companies, IT companies, farmers' associations. A general presentation of the project was made highlighting their expected involvement and some forthcoming activities were announced.
