Regional stakeholder group of Regions 4Food -project in South Ostrobothnia, Finland had their first meeting at Seinäjoki University of Applied Sciences on 24.10.2018. The group was formed from different stakeholders of the project, including representatives of the Regional Council of South Ostrobothnia, education, business development and rural advisory services, RDI-organizations and companies from the food value chain and IT-sector.
The meeting included presentation of the project and its activities and objectives. Also the role of stakeholder group in this project was clarified. The discussion about the thoughts and ideas of the stakeholder group about the digitalization of the food value chain in South Ostrobothnia was interesting and important part of the meeting.
The stakeholder group agreed on the importance and current interest of the project subject, and is already waiting for the next steps of the project.
