The Textile Centre of Excellence held the first Textile Innovation Group Meeting (the RESET Project Stakeholders meeting) in Huddersfield, on 17th October 2016. Partners introduced themselves, their organisations, areas of expertise and areas of particular interest. Information about RESET project was presented by Bill Macbeth including the project objective, methodology and work plan for the next semesters. Participants expressed their interest in, and enthusiasm for the exchanging of experience between RESET Partners and learning about the examples of good practice.

Craig Lawrance presented the ‘Wear2 Technology’ initiative which had been developed by the team of Dr. Steve Russell at the University of Leeds. Steve also explained the background to the technology development to the Group who agreed that ‘Wear2’ would be an appropriate technology to be shared at the 1st Thematic Seminar in Alcoy in .
