On 29 June a delegation of Retrace project took part to the Thematic Workshop Circular economy: a necessity and transformative opportunity for cities and regions in Europe organised by the Policy Learning Platform on Environment and Resource Efficiency of Interreg Europe.
The event gathered many projects dealing with the topic of Circular Economy (CE) that have been financed under the first and the second Interreg Europe call. The aim of the meeting was to discuss together the challenges currently faced in the implementation of Circular Economy - related actions.
The discussion was enriched by a speech concerning the meaning of moving towards a Circular Economy for European cities and by a panel discussion on effective approaches, practices and policy measures on CE.
Moreover, the upcoming tool of the Policy Learning Platform was introduced.
