The first Regional Dissemination Event in Piedmont Region will take place on September 26th in Turin, Italy.

The conference will discuss the topic of Circular Economy from different perspectives, including contributions from academic and private sectors, journalists and writers with a focus on the state of the issue in Piedmont Region. The RETRACE project (A Systemic Approach for Regions TRAnsitioning towards a Circular Economy), proposed by Politecnico di Torino and Piedmont Region and financed under the Interreg Europe Programme, will be presented as one of the actions to develop regional policies in support of circular economy. RETRACE partners (public and private partners from 5 countries: Italy, Spain, France, Slovenia and Romania) deem that the adoption of more systemic approaches at territory/regional level can play a leverage effect in the transition towards circular economy.

The Regional Dissemination Event is part of the programme of “Europe in my region”, organized in occasion of the 14th European Week of Regions and Cities, that provides thousands of local, regional, national and European decision-makers and experts with a real forum for exchanging and discussing projects and issues relating to regional and local development.

This event is organized in order  to disseminate on the territory the topics related to environmental sustainability and circular economy.
