Hybrid study visit to Transylvanian Fortresses
On October 20th-21st 2021, North-West Regional Development Agency will be the host of the RFC Study Visit in Transylvania, organized in a hybrid mode.
The agenda of the meeting will include:
• Summary of the historical heritage Regional Analysis from Transylvania
• Presentation of main fortresses & bastions using interactive digital twin virtual tour: Oradea Fortress & Tailors Tower
• Presentation of main roman castra in Transylvania: Potaissa, Porolissum and Buciumi
• Revitalisation of heritage through creative industries: Electric Castle
• Visit to Porolissum Roman Castrum & Zalău Museum for an audio & virtual tour 3D experience in roman times
• Interregional Thematic Workshop on How to respond to urban pressure and integrate historical fortifications into contemporary urban planning, infrastructure and functional context
