All partners participated in the past 9th of March in a virtual online study visit to Magdeburg. Due to the COVID-19 restrictions the meeting was held online. This time, the main topic was INTERREG EUROPE additional funding possibilities.

The virtual meeting was particularly intended to bring all participants up to date on the current status of the project and to exchange ideas for the action plan. The participants agreed that the inclusion of the fortress sites in the planned uniform tourism guidance system must be a first important step. Thus, all places that can already be experienced should be equipped with information boards.

A second step is possible in the direction of virtual processing of the fortress heritage. Good preliminary work has already been done here in several projects which should be further advanced. The possibility of the "virtual resurrection" of already lost fortress architecture such as the citadel is considered particularly interesting.

During the meeting, partners gave a report about their progress, giving special importance to expenditures and policies. Communication issues were also discussed during this virtual meeting

As said, the main topic of this study visit was INTERREG EUROPE Additional Funding Possibilities. The objective of these funds is to face COVID-19 impact on projects implementation, and furthermore, the utilization of remaining budget amounts for Pilot Actions, that might be increased, if necessary, with the mentioned additional funds.
