On 28 October, from 15:30 to 17:00 CET, the Interreg Europe Policy Learning Platform is organising a hybrid workshop on good practices and future on impact investing. The event will take place within the Agorada+2021 - FinMed conference organised by EURADA in Valencia, Spain.
This hybrid workshop will be moderated by our SME competitiveness Thematic Experts, René Tõnnisson and Mart Veliste. It will take place on the first day of the conference from 15:30 to 17:00 CET and will put the spotlight on impact investing.
Impact investing goes beyond traditional investments as it is also taking into account possible environmental and social impacts of investments in addition to financial returns. This concept, although in theory known already for some time, is still relatively new and used rarely in practice. The workshop is going to explore the lessons learned from the existing instruments and discuss how to make impact investing more widely used in Europe.
