A call is open to become a partner of the European Week of Regions and Cities in 2022. Many projects have contributed to the event over the years.

Why apply?

The European Week of Regions and Cities is one of the highlights of the annual EU event agenda and the biggest annual event dedicated to cohesion policy and the regions. 17 600 people participated the 2021 edition. It is an excellent arena to promote your project and your achievements.

The 20th anniversary edition of EURegionsWeek is digital by default and takes place on 10-13 October 2022.

Partner sessions will take place online. You can propose a session on one of the four event topics:

• Green Transition

• Territorial cohesion

• Digital Transition

• Youth empowerment

How to apply?

Cooperation and partnerships are a key part of the EURegionsWeek. Several Interreg Europe projects cooperated last year to organise different types of sessions (see examples in this overview). Draw inspiration from their experience, seek synergies beyond your own partnership, and prepare a joint session concept.

Some tips for becoming an EURegionsWeek partner:

• Review the guide for partners and the application form and make sure you provide all required information

• Build a partnership (ideally cooperation involving partners from more than one project)

• Pick your session type: workshop or participatory lab (90 min), info session (60 min) or EU Regions Talk (30 min pitch)

• Be specific and explicitly link the session to one of the four key themes

• Contact us to see if we can support you

The deadline for EURegionsWeek applications is 31 March - start preparing as soon as possible.
