A two-day event celebrating landscape, culture and the products of its rural economy will be held in the village of Magacela, in La Serena county, on 30 November and 1 December. The event is organised in cooperation with the regional government of Extremadura, a SHARE project partner. Extremadura’s Local Action Plan focuses on La Serena, which is developing a Strategic Plan for the promotion of the county as Cultural Landscape.
The region boasts very well-preserved nature and heritage sites, low industrialization and high-quality natural products, which can be key elements for the promotion of important economic activities such as rural or “green” tourism, production and exploitation of high quality agro-food products or other activities.
