The Hincks Centre hosted the inaugural stakeholders meeting for the SilverSME project on Friday November 30th. 

Stakeholders included representatives from the SME sector, social partners and research institutions. 

Dr Helen McGuirk opened the meeting and gave an overview of the Interreg European project.  Dr McGuirk discussed the overarching objectives of the project and detailed the role of the Hincks Centre in this project.  Dr Aisling ConwayLenihan shared the preliminary findings of the Southern region SWOT analysis that will feed into the composite report.  Mr John McAleer briefed the meeting on the composite report which will include findings of all 8 EU partners. 

The meeting was opened to a discussion on Good Practice and how this will feed into the Action Plan.  The stakeholder group will meet again in June.
