On Day 1 of this event the session will be opened by Mr Marco Meacci - ARRR SpA President, Ms Federica Fratoni - Tuscany Regional Minister for the Environment and Mr Roberto Bianco - Project Manager of ARRR SpA who are the Lead Partner of SME POWER.
The meeting will take place at the presence of all involved partners, from Italy, Germany, Ireland, UK, Slovenia, Finland, Spain and some stakeholders from different sectors: academic world, Trade Associations and a member from Tuscany Region responsible for the management of EU funds relating energy.
This meeting will represent the right moment for partners to start knowing each other and to discuss among various EU countries about the possibility of gathering complementary experiences, share the different approaches and build on a shared vision with the final goal of improving six policy instruments on energy efficiency measures for non – energy intensive SMEs.
During the 2 day meeting the partners will also have the opportunity of undertaking introductory exercises in order to gather initial perspectives on their current policy context by working in groups. These practical activities will facilitate the exchange of experiences and the interregional learning work.
In the framework of this meeting a study visit has been organised by the lead partner, in order to show how a local company (Ermini Adone Srl, Reggello,Firenze) has implemented/improved its energy efficiency measures in its productive process, thanks to the support of the European Regional Development Fund of Tuscany Region.
