The session will introduce SME Power to the local stakeholders and look at existing support mechanisms for SMEs wanting to improve their energy efficiency. It will focus on support on projects following the ERDF 4b strand of funding, and look at local delivery mechanisms such as Durham’s Business Energy Efficiency Project (BEEP).

A process map of the application journey will be used as a tool to evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of the policy instrument and look into how it has been implemented.

Stakeholders from local SME community will provide feedback on their experiences and also provide ideas on how an ideal support system could be delivered.

These findings will be reported back to our international partners later in the month.
