The first SME POWER regional stakeholder event was held on the 16th of January 2020 in Ptuj in conjunction with Interreg Central project FEEDSCHOOLS. Local energy agency Spodnje Podravje presented SME POWER to the wider audience and later conducted a discussion on funding sources for energy projects and newest RES technologies with working group members.
More than 40 participants have gathered to hear about existing support mechanisms for energy projects and the latest available technologies. Director of the Slovenian ECO Fund (legal entity within Ministry of the Environmental and Spatial Planning) presented funding opportunities for SMEs and a discussion with regional SMEs. The 13 members of SME POWER working group provided input for the Energy Support Map for the Slovenian regional context.
