European Week of Regions and Cities 2020

The #EURegionsWeek is an annual event based in Brussels and the biggest of its kind committed to regional policy. Thousands gather every year to use this great opportunity as a communication and networking possibility and platform.

In 2020 everything is a bit different. Instead of having an event across one week with everyone wandering around and exchanging policy learnings and good practice experiences, discussing challenges, and facilitating capacity-building, the week has been spread across three weeks and with less physical attendance. Each week having a different focus: Green Europe, Cohesion and Cooperation and Empowering Citizens. The focus will be on the 30th anniversary of the European Territorial Cooperation Interreg Programmes.

SMOOTH PORTS has successfully applied to participate as a partner to showcase the project’s interregional cooperation in the efforts to reduce emissions in ports with a stand. The project will be joining the REPLACE project and the ‘Interreg Europe: results in 30 countries’ exhibition stand.

SMOOTH PORTS is looking forward to increasing the visibility of its activities and immerse in an exchange of experiences with visitors of the stand.
