The Social Challenges Innovation Platform was recently launched. It is a marketplace where public authorities, private companies or third sector organisations can share the social challenges they want to solve. Social innovators and entrepreneurs from across Europe are invited to pitch their solutions to those challenges.
The call for solutions aims to scout, evaluate, select and offer seed funding to entrepreneurial solutions for the challenges on the platform.
The call is open until 21 December 2017.
Selected solution providers will receive a 30 000 € grant to co-develop the proposed solution with the challenge owner over a course of 6 months. They will also receive mentoring support from the platform's regional partners.
