Organised annually by the European Social Network (ESN), the European Social Services Conference brings together all those with an interest in social welfare to exchange knowledge on contemporary social policy and practice.
The 26th edition of the ESSC entitled ‘Invest – Innovate – Transform: Empowering people and communities‘ is organised for the first time in association with the Regional Ministry of Equality and Social Policies of the Regional Government of Andalusia, a member of ESN, who will co-host the event in the beautiful city of Seville from 28th-30th of May.
The 26th ESSC will provide a comprehensive policy and practice programme including:
A practice-based programme of workshops showcasing the latest innovations and trends in local public social services
A strategic discussion through plenary sessions featuring a mix of inspiring speakers such as ministers, academics and social innovators
Throughout the conference, various organisations from all sectors will be hosting workshops showcasing the latest good practice examples from across Europe – and your organisation could be one of them!
Within the overarching theme for 2018, the ESSC will feature innovative initiatives on the following four streams:
