Entreps hosts its 4th edition of Entreps Awards on the 18th and 19th of June 2018 along with an international congress with plenty of workshops and a two-day peer-to-peer brokerage: #5Gcitizens. The event will focuse on Circular Economy, Collaborative Economy, Digitisation, Energy Poverty and UN Sustainable Development goals. Different panels will be heard on these topics throughout the two days and the event will end on a high note with the Cocktail Ceremony and 4th edition of the ‘Addis Ababa’ Global Entreps Awards 2018 with an Official Opening by the President of the most representative EU Institution and Mr. Joaquin Boston, President of Entreps.

Some Director General’s presence has already been confirmed: Mrs. Lowri Evans, DG Grow and Mr. Daniel Calleja, DG Environment.

It will feature speakers from International organisations like Jean Luc Lemahieu, director of the UN Office on Drugs and Crime, European Institutions with Antonio Tajani, President of European Parliament but also regional and local stakeholders like Roberta Dall’Olio, President of Eurada and Head of Unit European Policies, regional development, social innovation and economy, territorial and international cooperation at Emilia Romagna region or Maria Baracsi Head of International Cooperation at IFKA Hungary Government.

The event is an initiative targeting citizens, as key players of the Social Innovation the EU needs to raise awareness, engage society from our regions and cities, to finally tackle any ongoing issues to continue to be the continent of diversity, tolerance and social integration that the EU is.
