AEIDL in cooperation with ICLEI and Social Economy Europe are collecting good practices on socially responsible public procurement on behalf of the European Commission.
The project builds upon previous initiatives with a similar aim, such as the Buying for Social Impact project.
Drawing on the expertise and experience of your organization in public procurement, we invite you to submit examples of SRPP procedures carried out at local, regional or national level and dealing with SRPP in its different facets. These include, among others, the promotion of decent work along the supply chain, the introduction of gender equality criteria in tenders, enabling the inclusion of people with disabilities or other forms of disadvantage, design for all requirements, or facilitating the participation of social economy enterprises.
Policies, strategies and support mechanisms aimed at the promotion of SRPP in its different phases are also welcome as good practices. Cases from outside the EU are eligible as well.
The process for selecting good practices will be two-stepped. At the initial (current) stage, you are asked to reply to present call and fill in this very short form with basic details of the good practice proposed:
The deadline to send the first details of your good practice is 6 November 2019.
