New monitoring system being developed

In January 2020, IFKA organized two workshops in Budapest, Hungary aimed at developing a test version of a social enterprise sector certification system. The first event was held on January 24th 2020. It was attended by policy makers and the experts of the banking sector as potential clients who may need a database/certificate in the future based specifically on the business viability and social impact of social enterprises.

On the second workshop (January 30th 2020.), the social enterprises themselves commented on the proposed certification/monitoring system and made their development suggestions. An inspiring dialogue was launched from different sectors, on both events.

The online data collection system is currently being developed, and IFKA will involve its partners, social enterprises, from April 2020 to the testing process. Partners are social enterprises that have been certified in frame of the EDIOP-5.1.2 "MarketMate" flagship project and have had the opportunity to use EU funding for product/service development and employment of the disadvantaged groups.
