A framework agreement was recently signed by Municipality of Florence, Impact Hub, SSATI, CsaVRI and NANA Bianca
Aim of the agreement is to enhance the attractiveness of the Florentine innovation ecosystem through the promotion of networking encouraging cross-contamination phenomena.
The framework will help coordinating projects and training activities, scouting, selection, mentoring, incubation, acceleration optimizing the use of available resources.
Cecilia del Re - Deputy Mayor for Economic Development of Florence Municipality explains the reasons behind the creation of the “super-incubator” : "Every year in Europe over 1 million new enterprises are created but half of them fail within 5 years. The real challenge is to strengthen policies that support entrepreneurship and smes throughout all phases of their life cycle. Our task is to remove the obstacles and help them to grow and scale.”
