On May, 27 2021, the Interreg Policy Learning Platform hosted an online thematic workshop on « Living rivers, a driver of sustainable regional development » in which STAR Cities was highlighted.
The event focused on the restoration of rivers and their ecosystem services, as well as how sustainable tourism development opportunities and actions may result from it from a natural and cultural heritage valorisation.
In this frame, our partner NECSTouR presented the STAR Cities project during the first part of the workshop by showcasing a wide array of solutions identified by the project partners to boost riverside tourism.
