The Policy Learning Platform is organising a trilogy of 30-minute webinars which will take place in May 2021. Spread over three consecutive weeks, the mini-series will put the spotlight on the development of an entrepreneurial spirit from an early age.

The first of these seminars will focus on fostering an entrepreneurial spirit at a young age. During this webinar, the participants will learn about complementary practices that facilitate the entrepreneurial spirit of the next generations such as the holistic set of youth entrepreneurship practices present in East-Flanders, Belgium which include:

- “Eureka, I do business” (an ECEF initiative), a very interesting play targeting students in their last year of secondary school. The practice has been ongoing for over 10 years and has reached and inspired thousands of students every year.

- The Vlajo mini companies programme, aimed at last year secondary school students who after forming a group are invited create a company from scratch.

Practices such as these are important to realise the entrepreneurial potential of youngsters. In the long run they not only benefit the students but equally the whole local ecosystem.

Sarah Levecque, European Projects Coordinator from the European Council of East-Flanders, Project Partner in the START EASY project, will be participating as a speaker in this interesting webinar.
