11.30 – 12.30 | SEL | Presentation on the Innovation Delivery Partnership from North East Local Enterprise Partnership (regional economic organisaton). This is the new policy instrument we chose for this additional activity. This is a tool/programme to support emerging future economies such as the Space sector. | Innovation Programme Manager from NELEP who has a remit for developing ecosystems for innovation activities and programmes in the region. |

1.30 – 2.30 | Tour of Orbit | A repurposed facility as a University Enterprise Zone for Durham University to support businesses. Co-located with the Centre for Advanced Instrumentation. Presentation from a Space company. | Speakers Will be the Director for the Centre for Advanced Instrumentation. Also potentially see a demonstration from NORSS, a space situational awareness company. They recently also placed a LEO Optical Camera installation in a nearby observatory for space surveillance and tracking. |
