Giuseppe Rossi, Director of AURI, the lead partner of the SUBTRACT Interreg Europe Project, spoke about the ongoing project activities at the press conference where the guidelines for the "Piano d'Ambito" for urban waste management of the Umbria Region was presented.
"AURI is deeply convinced that reuse must become a priority in the planning and the practice of circular economy and the flow of goods and materials in Umbria" said Giuseppe Rossi. "We are looking forward to the opportunities in the coming months to talk about these issues with stakeholders in our territory and we are excited to hopefully meet again with our SUBTRACT partners in Sweden in late fall. We intend to copy unabashedly from those European partners who do better than us."
