The 3rd Interregional seminar of SUPPORT will be held in Alba Iulia, Romania, the 9th and 10th of October.
In the first day of work, the project partners and the stakeholders will talk about de-carbonization areas and energy efficiency of Malta, while the Bulgarian partner will bring a case study about the action plan development and monitoring.
The Croatian Ministry of Construction and Physical Planning will speak about energy renovation. Croatia and Germany will share a session on Public buildings energy management and monitoring systems.
The second day will be dedicated to focus groups.
The first will be centered on the development of the action plan:
"The contents of the SUPPORT Action Plan will be further analysed, based on the example of the Action Plan developed in the context of another Interreg Project, CESME (Circular Economy for SMEs). In general, the common template of the Interreg Europe Action Plan is divided in three main Parts a) Part 1: general information, b) policy context and c) actions envisaged. Part 1 refers to general information regarding the project, the project partner, the country/region and the contact person. Part 2 depicts the policy context, on which the Action Plan will be developed including the regional policy instrument addressed, the national/regional strategies and the objectives/priority axes. In Part 3 more details will be given concerning the ongoing and final results of the project implementation. Based on the above results, the future actions to specialize the current national Research and Innovation Strategies will be outlined. Furthermore, the possible players involved in these actions will be listed as well as the implementation period will be specified. Finally, the cost of the Action Plan implementation and the relevant funding sources will be estimated and listed respectively".
The second on the financial instruments as a new model of EU financing:
"Financial instruments are an efficient way to invest in growth and development across the European Union. They can be used to support a wide range of projects, from public infrastructure or productive investment projects and for instance support public and households in improving their energy efficiency performance and in planning of various activities for adaptation to climate change. As financial instrument are one of the most important aspects for Action plan realization second thematic presentation will be focused on them by taking special attention on new EU funding framework and challenges for continuation of public building energy refurbishment imposed by new EU funding framework and nZEB goals".
