On the 29th of May 2018, right after the project partner meeting in Komarno (Slovakia), where the work on the action plans was discussed, Vidzeme Planning Region (Latvia) together with the experts elaborating the regional action plan are inviting the Latvian stakeholders to discuss the following topics:
- improvement of the top-down approach in the management of natural and cultural heritage: inter-institutional cooperation, function audit of the involved institutions;
- improvement of the bottom-up approach in the management of natural and cultural heritage: public involvement, public initiatives;
- tourism destination development: marketing, PPP in the destination management, investments in the infrastructure and new services.
