We are pleased to invite you to the official launching conference for the SWARE: Sustainable heritage management of Waterway Regions project on the 21st of September 2016 from 12:45 – 17:30 at the Province House in The Hague (NL).

Waterway regions have an unexplored potential for job creation and employment.

-          Can they make a smarter use of their natural resources and cultural heritage?

-          What should they do to further position themselves as attractive areas for living and working?

-          Can this go hand in hand with the measures to protect these resources and heritage for future Generations?

Creating this balance and translating this into concrete policies is the main objective of this international cooperation in the SWARE project.

For 3 years 5 regions in Europe will join forces to discuss ideas, practices and policy changes in close cooperation with regional public and private stakeholders.

The SWARE Launching conference is the start of this challenging and unique cooperation!
