Public consultation meeting aims to provide policy makers with participants’ viewpoints on :
- problems impeding the implementation of policies for the development of industrial symbiosis and circular economy
- the investment potential in industrial symbiosis
- best cases of by-product and energy exchanges taking place in industrial symbiosis projects.
- the use of green public procurement as an instrument to promote and advance industrial symbiosis and circular economy projects
Feedback provided by participants during the meeting will be distributed among the SYMBI partnership in order to inform policy making in their regions. As a result, participants in the SYMBI public consultation meeting will co-shape future policy aiming to foster the development of industrial symbiosis and circular economy and, hence, positively bolster the sustainability of the economy of their region.
