Expected results and outputs of the project

The TITTAN project will contribute to improve regional policy instruments in relation to the field of healthy and active ageing. All the policy instruments addressed by the project are linked to the implementation of 2014-2020 EU Structural Funds, in particular the ERDF. TITTAN will therefore have a strong impact on that implementation process, in the sense of ensuring a quality-oriented and effective investment of Structural Funds in the field of healthy and active ageing.

The improvement of policy instruments will be achieved through two complementary ways:

• the improvement of ongoing plans and projects, by introducing measures identified thanks to the TITTAN project;
• the implementation of new projects and plans, inspired in the experiences shared in the framework of the TITTAN project.
