Smart Up! Specials! is a sequel to the Smart Up event that took place in Emmen in September 2018. There we spoke each other about the development of the Northern Netherlands. With the series Smart Up! Specials! we zoom in on a theme every time. We want to inspire each other with speakers and interactive working methods. This creates a wonderful breeding ground for innovation. Smart Up! Specials! is possible by Samenwerkingsverband Noord Nederland, Hanzehogeschool and the Interreg Europe projects Beyond EDP, Cluster FY, RELOS3 and TraCS3. The four Interreg Europe projects combine and organize this joint stakeholder events to adress themes relevant to the projects in an innovative and interactive way. This Smart Up! Special is dedicated to discuss how to improve the North Netherlands regional innovation infrastructure performance and how to improve regional policy to support this infrastructure development.
