The fifth Local Stakeholder Group meeting of PP4 of TRAM project took place in Miskolc, Hungary, on 8 May 2018.

For the sake of the newly delegated attendances, Mr Árpád Horánszky briefed the TRAM project’s aims, activities had done so far and to do in the upcoming period.

As indicated in the anticipated program of the meeting, the experiences of the latest project meeting in March in Ancona were presented by the project coordinator. On the parallel implemented Steering Committee meeting and ITRE Panel workshop were presented by the Lead Partner representatives the activities and results of the last two semester, the experiences of the latest Progress Report, actual tasks and the next steps to do to reach the desired milestones.

Particularly important question was the budgetary situation. All partners had to define the required reallocations between budget lines to minimize loss and underspending in the project.

The ITRE Panel’s experts finalized the Action Plan assembling methodology and analyzed the adaptability and complementarity of the selected Good Practices for the other partners.

The meetings were followed by Study Visits. One of the Good Practice of Marche region was presented in Camerino, where is the headquarter of the regional bus transportation company. They had implemented earlier a demand-driven passenger transportation service in an INTERREG IIIB project formerly. The service is needed to supply required service for the habitants of desolated, mountainous villages in the area. Although DDT service’s costs are naturally higher, during the serious natural disaster in 2017, the system was extremely useful to reorganize transportation system of the region after 3 earthquakes.

The next GP was presented in Pesaro, where the city’s bike-pathway network and connected services, actions were presented. Even had the chance to see the newly implemented bike-share system, the “Mobike” fleet as well.

Participants of the SG meeting were informed about the possibility that the peer review of the Romanian partner will be hold in Miskolc merging with the PP4 peer review and the actual steering committee meeting in November. PP5 has to clarify this with the LP and the Joint Secretariat before the final decision.

The managers of the project told that the next project meeting will be organized in Seville, where must be present the action plan draft of each partner. So the next main task is to write the Mobility Development Action Plan of Miskolc, using the template made available by the ITRE Panel.
