The main responsibility of the The Steering Committee will be to take key decisions and give strategic advice for project development. Will meet at least twice a year and will be followed or preceded by technical meetings to discuss more practical issues raised.
It will review the progress on deliverables and budget, addressing any issues before they compromise the success of the project, and deal with governance arrangements.
Each region will nominate one person to attend and The Steering Committee, and the group will produce a terms of reference and these will be laid out in a consortium agreement.
