The Environmental Sustainability Observatory at the Metropolitan City of Bologna is an association founded by the Order of Chartered Accountants and Accounting Experts of the City of Bologna, Aster, the Order of Chemists of the City of Bologna and the University of Bologna, with the aim of deepening and promoting study and research on issues related to environmental sustainability.
On 17/11/2017 the Environmental Sustainability Observatory at the Metropolitan City of Bologna organized a training course on "Reporting of environmental performance". In that occasion the Emilia-Romagna Region illustrated to the stakeholders who participated in, representatives of the economic, business and research sectors, the regional law on the circular economy and the TRIS project. Both are considered best practices to promote the transition of companies towards the circular economy and to spread the knowledge and benefits that can derive from the application of models of industrial symbiosis.
