On Thursday 26th of September, Kuldiga District Municipality organised its third regional stakeholders meeting.
Members of the Kuldiga District Municipality, the Kuldiga Development Agency, the SIA Grupa93 and local experts attended the meeting. Different approaches to evaluate the potential, resources and specifics of the Venta River, its valley and riverbanks were discussed to find ways to link this landscape with the urban area of Kuldiga, its habitants and tourists in a eco-friendly way. To achieve the best results, experts from various fields are involved in the preparation of the project study and action plan - landscape architects, environmental specialists, cartographers, hydrologists, freshwater habitats experts, experts in grassland and forest habitats, etc.
