Prahova Chamber of Commerce webinar regarding the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic and the identification of solutions for innovation and adaptation to the paradigm imposed by the new socio-economic conditions.

On February 1, 2022, the Prahova Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the British-Romanian Chamber of Commerce (BRCC) organized the Webinar on entrepreneurial topics "Best Practices in 2021", which was attended by 45 people, and 9 companies had the opportunity to give short presentations.

The event was addressed both to companies with British capital, but also to those who are already doing business on the market in the Kingdom or intend to do so, to companies that want to find out more information about the changes that took place with the BREXIT phenomenon, as well as to people from businesses that want to relate with British companies in Romania.

The hosts of the event - Mr. Aurelian Gogulescu, President of CCI Prahova, respectively Mr. Neil McGregor, General Director of BRCC - pointed out general aspects regarding the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic and the identification of solutions for innovation and adaptation to the paradigm imposed by the new socio-economic conditions. Also, the major events that affected the activity of the companies were discussed, such as the increase in the costs of raw materials, transport, electricity and gas, but also aspects regarding the implementation of new business models, possible directions for reorienting the activity, the human resources crisis in different fields, BREXIT challenges and turning them into opportunities, etc.

The dialogue was dynamic and concretely allowed the sharing of experience and best practices, being doubled by the possibility of networking, the business people present having the opportunity to establish new contacts and exchange information.
