The ZEROCO2 Exchange of Experiences Event followed by a Steering Committee Meeting took place on the 8th and 9th of June 2022 in Malta, organised by the Institute for Sustainable Energy of the University of Malta. The University of Malta is one of the seven partners of the Interreg Europe ZEROCO2 project.
The event brought together ZEROCO2 partners and stakeholders coming from both public and private sector to discuss a number of identified good practices and to provide feedback on them, in preparation for their subsequent submission to the Interreg Europe Policy Learning Platform.
The interregional event was divided into two days; on the first day (8th of June) the exchange of experiences with peer review took place, and on the second day (9th of June), the ZEROCO2 project steering committee meeting was held.
The event was opened with a welcome speech from the University of Malta’s Rector for Research and Knowledge, Prof. Simon Fabri and the Director of the Institute for Sustainable Energy, Prof. Luciano Mule’ Stagno. The Director of Funds and Programmes Division, Office of the Prime Minister, Ms. Abigail Camilleri and Mr. Graham Blythe (Political Reporter at the Permanent Representation of Malta to the EU) have also welcomed all the participants.
