On July 23, the 2nd stakeholder event in Lithuania was arranged online. It lasted two and a half hours where good practices from partners' regions were presented and a discussion on the expectations of the managing authorities and other institutions carried out.

The meeting gathered the main local stakeholder group from the Managing Authority – Ministry of Economy and Innovation, Ministry of Environment, Environmental Protection Agency, Kaunas University of technology, Lithuanian Energy Institute, Kaunas municipality and Industrial representatives.

Objectives

The objectives of this meeting were to:
•    inform the stakeholders about the good practices of the LCA4REGIONS project on resource efficiency.
•    give the context about the Interreg Europe program and the possibilities it offers.
•    present to the stakeholders what can be the benefit for Lithuania from the participation in the  LCA4REGIONS project.
•    Feedback on the 2nd TLJ in Navarre.

The presented GP’s were very interesting for the participants. During the meeting, participants expressed their views on good practices from partner countries. They found all the good practices interesting and they think that these GP’s could be applied in our region as well. However, this is a long process and it depends what strategy will be chosen for the implementation of the LCA methodology in the country.
