On 9 May 2023 at the Auditorium Innovation Center in Florence, the final event of the 40Ready project was held, which thus came to the end of its four-year journey. The meeting was attended not only by the partners but also by numerous regional, national, and European stakeholders.
From 2019 to 2023, the 40Ready partnership cooperated to achieve the overall objective of the project, namely to better prepare SMEs by promoting a coherent line of development for the I4.0 revolution while also trying to change the cultural mindset, preparation, and competencies in the different regions involved.
The event is designed not only to share the results of the project but also to encourage the exchange of future policy perspectives for SMEs in the field of Industry 4.0 and digitalisation. To this end, participants included representatives from local/regional authorities, stakeholders from the education and training sector, research institutes, and national and international organizations involved in the decision-making process.
During the event, participants were shown a video summary of what each region has achieved since participating in 40Ready.
