According to a study made on Romanian consumers by the Reveal Marketing Research agency for the CEZ Romania Group, on a sample of 1,800 individuals and 750 companies, green energy is seen as an attractive option by 72% of companies and 74% of domestic consumers.
CEZ Group Romania, the biggest electricity supplier in the area, aims for the green energy to no longer be a niche product, but an accessible one to all interested consumers, without economic or qualitative impediments. In this regard, the company decided to launch a national subscription – CEZ Verde, intended for enterprises or private customers, which offers 100% energy from renewable sources, provided by the largest onshore wind farm in Europe, Fantanele-Cogealac, operated by the same company. With CEZ Verde, all those who aim to protect nature and look for solutions to reduce theirs CO2 and GHG emissions on the environment, have the opportunity to use energy obtained entirely from clean sources. To stimulate as many consumers as possible to use green energy, CEZ offers to the new customers, using this new energy subscription, a fixed electricity price for a year starting from the contract signing date, a payment term of 15 days from the issuance of the invoice and the possibility of postponing the payment for 30 days.
Thanks to this type of product, that can be select by companies, there is an enormous potential for its using in farms, for any various activities related and not limited to plant cultivation, raising animals, food processing, cooling or heating production facilities and transportation of the products to customers, using electric vehicles, which can be charged directly from green energy sources.
