The Middle Black Sea Regional Development Agency, located in Samsun within the TR83 Region in Turkey is implementing a Regional Competitiveness Project. Within the framework of this EU funded project, OKA is now preparing the first comprehensive Smart Specialization Strategies of Turkey.
On February 23rd, OKA held the first conference on S3 in Turkey. The main aim of the conference was to announce OKA's regional smart strategy and to raise awareness among academics and professionals working on similar issues related to this relatively new approach in Turkey.
Eurada CEO Esteban Pelayo and President Stanislaw Ginda were taking part in the event. Notable speakers included Nathalie Boulanger from Dev'Up Centre-Val de Loire who testified on the key role of entrepreneurs in the RIS3 Management through the Entrepreneurial Discovery Process. The project Beyond EDP was presented to an audience of more than 150 attendees coming from the whole Turkey.
